One thing to consider is that the main expense in any golf sim build is the space itself. You can set up something decent and relatively inexpensive, as I did. Spornia Net ($275), MLM2Pro ($700), and Motiva Mat ($170) coming out to $1,145. I then use my iPad setup in front of me as a screen but you could also use your phone. I currently have this setup on my patio. The next step is an indoor setup; however my garage is too short to house the sim, and a big enough building will be around $7-10k. If you already have the space, great! Otherwise, an indoor sim can be pricy.

I think there are some flaws in the way you played Geek Weakton strategy. When chipping, the ultra conservative play is to get it on the green even if you are well past the pin. You chipped short of the green and had to chip again. That would not be a shot that would be tried with a super conservative strategy IMHO.

Hi, I just watched a couple of your informative videos on the Mevo Plus setup. I don't own one just yet but saw that GSPro has settings to adjust the distance from ball to unit but E6 doesn't. Does chipping & putting work just as good on E6? Thanks!

I don't know if you already did but get a Coach on your side that helps you to fix problems and leads you to the right path. But you will get there no matter what.

I know it is an old video and I don't know how you currently practice but putting should be top priority. I am by any means not a good player and far away from scratch golfing but I think I am pretty good putter. You can safe so many strokes by practicing putting like there is no tomorrow :D

I've got golf club purchase problems :( Played the TSR3, Ping G30, Ping G430 10K, Stealth 2 + and Mizuno STX all within the same year and the Stealth 2 + was the worst of the bunch by far. I tried 2 different shafts, KBS and Lin-Q Gunmetal, I really do believe you need to have a high swing speed to max this driver out. There are a ton of videos where guys are killing this club. When I did go at it and hit the middle of the face it was a rocket launcher, but not worth not finding fairways. Just my 2 cents...good review thanks!

Our high school team had two 2 handicappers (130 lbs and a 145 lbs) and we hit the ball about the same distance as these guys maybe a few yards shorter. You guys need to spend more time practicing your chipping and putting!

While I am stunned at how far these kids are hitting it, I'm really not at the same time. We've seen what technology has done for distance over the last 25 years so it's really not all that difficult to believe. 15 years ago I would average 290 in a round and be one of the longest guys out of 30 or 40 that day. It's just not the same game today. To anyone wanting to compare banging balls on the driving range to playing on a professional circuit. Professionals almost never unleash on a drive. They are hitting a smooth 80 to 85% and threading the ball into the tightest fairways in the world. They are averaging 290 to 330 yards almost never letting a ball rip. These kids are hitting it as hard as they can. Probably somewhere near 110% with 100% being completely balanced and in control. They are flirting with coming out of their shoes on some of these shots. So take a pro who averages 310 and add 25% more because he's only swinging at 85%. Now the pro is hitting close to 390. And remember the pro has a better swing so when he really wants to hit it 400 410 420 it is not unheard of. And then let's just consider one more factor in this conversation. Driving is only a part of being a pro. They're not pros because their drives are the longest in the world, they are pros because they can do it over and over and over again with each and every club in their bag. Comparing these kids smashing balls on a driving range to a pro because they can drive it long is like comparing a kid out on a baseball field catching long pop flies. He's doing the exact same thing a pro player does and for the most part just as well. He just isn't throwing the ball from deep center field to home for the easy tag. I have no reason to doubt that video is legit. Now I want to know What team this school plays for because I'd love to watch them play. Lol

I understand you can buy one length irons sets typically from 5 to GW, but how do you buy the one length hybrids and 56-58 degree wedges to match the iron set? Or do you buy the normal length ones and then change out the shafts?
